Omnikron Systems, Inc

Omnikron was growing rapidly and they knew that the only they could keep up with the business was to scale up their network infrastructure. Omnikron called Plexus Communications to help them with a network solution that would allow them to grow with high performance and secure networking. So the team at Plexus designed a LAN infrastructure with 100+ clients and 11 servers in an NT based environment. Plexus completed a T1 upgrade including firewall, Private IP Scheme, DMZ implementation and implemented a VPN solutions for Omnikron consultants throughout the world.

Omnikron has also looked to Plexus to help them manage and monitor their network on a monthly subscription basis. This has helped Omnikron with avoiding critical network downtime, virus and hacker attacks, and high-speed, reliable performance. Plexus' management solutions have included: maintaining user accounts, controlling and monitoring network security, troubleshooting and resolving network problems, install & configure systems, assisting users, and maintaining all network systems. Plexus has taken on all responsibilities with all aspects of network administration, server management, hardware/software installations, configurations, data management, anti-virus and backup solutions. This proactive approach to managing their network allows Omnikron to do what they do best and have piece of mind that their critical network communications are secure and reliable.

Malibu Presbyterian Church

Malibu Presbyterian Church was in need of a solution to keep them connected to the internet along with several other nagging problems. So they called Plexus Communications for support and guidance to get them back up on the internet and back to business as usual. Plexus came in on an on-call basis to help troubleshoot their internet connectivity problems. Plexus found that part of the problem was a dial-up problem with the ISP as well as a few other things on their network. Plexus troubleshot and repaired network connectivity, tested connectivity from workstations, ran virus scans and cleaned all viruses on their system. Plexus also reconfigured the main network print server to solve all printing problems, replaced hard drive on workstation, and reinstalled operating system. Their latest project came about as a need to protect sensitive and private information. Plexus installed a firewall server on the network to secure their network and data from outside intrusion.

GetTaught.com

GetTaught.com was a startup company developing on-line multi-media tutorials specializing in algebra education. Plexus was called upon to help build the entire network infrastructure from the ground up and manage the day to day network operations. Plexus designed and implemented the LAN infrastructure web servers with 100+ clients and 11 servers in an NT-based environment. A T1 upgrade including firewall, Private IP Scheme and DMZ implementation was completed. Plexus also setup a Windows 2000 test lab: Designed and implemented Windows NT multiple Domain Test Network which included Win2000 Active Directory preparation for full scale rollout to production environment.
